Question:

how to cook really good turkey breast with only the basics?

I'm not so handy in a kitchen, but I want to cook turkey breasts for ThanksgivingThe problem is I live overseas and only have basics-a baking pan, aluminium foil, baking paper, butter, salt, pepperI don't have meat thermometerI don't have those baking bags either. The turkey breasts each are 2 lbs./ 900 gramsI want to do 2 at the same timeHow long should I bake them? Do I need to baste them? There's very little fat, and no skin, on the only turkey I could find where I'm livingAny tips on how to do this so it comes out nice?

Answer:

GlassAnything from beer bottles and glass lampshades to light bulbs.
Cooper, glass (bottles), and aluminum shavingsteel alsoCooper and aluminum shavings pay really good to recycle.
It really depends on your locationThe City I live in recycles curbside clear glass ONLY, but the County I live in recycles curbside colored glass (like brown beer bottles) as well as clearNeither one does lightbulbsWe have a Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Scrap collection once a month at our landfill, but it is far out and not very well attendedAt the collection you can recycle almost everything, including ALL batteries (think about your electric toothbrush, childrens shoes that light up, kids toys or hearing aids), anything with a circuit board which includes some irons and other kitchen appliances, central air conditioning thermostats and thermometers (they both have mercury in them), and any kind of household cleaners, pesticides, herbicides, paint and varnishes, any kind of gasoline, oil or grease, including used vegetable oil from turkey fryersEven things like ammunition, safety flares, and expired fire extinuishers can be recycledIf you have an item, call your local Solid Waste folks, they can tell you what they can handle and maybe point you in the right direction for everything else.
season turkeywrap in foilbake at 350 degrees for 1hour per 4 lbsremove the foil the last 30 minutes so it will brown.
