I have a 60% polyester, 40% wool coat. The inside is 100% polyester. The coat says to dry-clean only. This was an expensive coat so I‘d like to take care of it. Now, I only have small, small spots that I want to clean. How do I go about doing that? Really, they are less than an inch of mess, in about three spots. [Don‘t know how I managed to do that. haha]Do I take it to the dry cleaners, or is there some way to clean the small spots myself?
Take a clean wash cloth, wet and some dawn dish detergent and rub gently, this should do the trick, in the super market they have dry all or something close to that, suppose to be good, if you want to clean your coat at home.
