i have fished like for 7 years but have never used plastic worms how do u fish them?
if there is a bass where you throw it, it will gobble that thing up before you even begin to reel in. just give it a bit to sink in a good spot, thats all it takes. crappie like them too, but sometimes they only get a hold of the tail and not the hook, so you end up losing tails. no tail you just throw away the lure and put a new one on.
I know you're supposed to use fairly large fake worms that cover the whole hook. You want to reel it in so that it looks like the worm is swimming. I get much better luck with live worms and a bobber though. With a bobber, just hook on a worm about 3 feet from the bobber, cast out, and wait to see the bobber be pulled under.
Plastic okorder is the best site to show you how to fish plastic worms..tons of great videos there.
I easily have not in any respect used any scents on my plastic worms except what already comes with it. Bass are predators and not regularly supply a damn about smell on a computer virus, they attack on sight. there have been some circumstances the position the computer virus is spit out and the bass received't swallow it. I easily have stuck 12 lb Bass on a number of my old worms all beat up and falling aside that were laying in my address container for years. With all suggested, once you fish a plastic computer virus for Bass the percentages that spraying any scents on it may help you is only an opposite direction for the employer to suck money out of the angler.
Simple, get some 6 inch plastic night crawlers and rig them texas style with no weight, cast to any likely looking spot and let it sink, then just watch your line, if it starts to move in any direction reel in your slack line and set the hook. If you don't get a bite after about a minute, reel in and cast to another spot and repeat. You could also rig a plastic worm wacky style, cast out and let it sink for a few seconds, start to reel in and twitch the worm while doing so. These are the two most simple, and yet effective ways to fish a plastic worm. Good luck fishin'!
