When we bought the router we placed it in my big brother's room and I had great internet access from my room2 months later I couldn't access the internet from my room so I used to go to the next room for internetAbout 6 months later I had again internet access from my room without doing anything.(I don't know if the filippine girl did anything to the router while cleaning the house)And now the connection has lost again and I have to move to the next room for internet accessDo you know why or what to do to fix this problem?
If you could connect before, it means that there's something happening to the signalWifi signals work best if they don't have to go through walls or any solid objectsYou said in your post that you could connect from your room before, so it could be that there's something interrupting the signalCheck to see if the router has not been placed near metal objects as these can prevent the signal from getting to youIf it's near a window, check the window for any objects that could be interrupting the signalThings to check for might include Microwave ovens, cordless telephones, fluorescent lamps, aluminium foil, sheet metal or generatorsTry moving the router to a different spot in the room if you can or play around with it's antenna and point it towards your room.that might help.
