Question:

How to get a better wireless signal?

I have a laptop with a Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100 AGN, and I can barely get my neighbors signal(usually 1 or two signal bars)I recently purchased a Belkin N+ wireless usb adapter to try to get a better signal, but my built in WiFi card gets a better signalDoes anyone have any ideas of how I can get a better signal? If your going to contribute to the actual question then please do but if your going to just say that I shouldn't try to steal his internet connection and buy my own then please don't waste your time posting.

Answer:

this may sound ridiculous but tin/aluminum foil and i'm being serious i made a little aerial as i'm in the loft and router is downstairs and you get better reception if you wrap a bowl up in foil then but your belkin adapter inside it would work or even just near your laptop and you will get better reception hope this helps you like it helped me )
Scotch Guard works very goodJust follow the directionsThat's all they doYou pay for the labor.
