Question:

How to get peanut butter off my cloth couch cushion?

Okay I decided to beat my cushions to get the dust out and noticed that some nasty dried up gum was on one of the corners! I‘m assuming it was one of my friends but whatever. What can I use to get the gum off? I have used PB for my hair when I got gum stuck but for my maroon sofa cushion? Idk. HELP!

Answer:

i totally understand what just happened to you. i mean you dont seem like the meanest person on earth. you were just being assertive. what you're doing doesn't really match with the definition of the word solicitation but idk. The ladies also should have had a more peaceful approach. yes this world is indeed nasty.
How to Remove Peanut Butter Stains From: Acrylic Fabric, Cotton, Linen, Modacrylic, Olefin, Polyester, Spandex Scrape to remove excess. Sponge the area with a dry-cleaning solvent, K2r Spot Lifter or Afta Cleaning Fluid. Apply a dry spotter. Cover the stain with an absorbent pad dampened with the dry spotter. Let it remain in place as long as any stain is being removed. Change the pad as it picks up the stain. To help loosen the stain, tamp (the method of bringing a brush down with light strokes on stained durable fabrics and materials) and blot the area. Flush with one of the liquid dry-cleaning solvents. To remove a persistent stain, sponge with water, apply a wet spotter, and tamp occasionally. Blot up any loosened material with an absorbent pad. Flush the area with water and repeat until no more stain is removed. Allow to dry.
