I got an art project I wanna (and have to) doWhat I wanna do is create 2 clay sculptures (technically together)So I did researchI think I'll purchase some Sculpey Original (the only actual clay I can find off of WalmartTarget had kiddie stuff and Michaels had NONE to display online)I can't seem to locate any craft wire, but I don't think that matters since I read you shouldn't bake the wire lest it causes fumes and meltsI was thinking of using crushed aluminum foil and thinly layering clay around itSo my questions: Will the aluminum be enough, or will I HAVE to find wire and get air-dry clay? How to make sure it won't crack, because I plan to paint it when all is said and done? The figure(s) will be of a Russian couple: a man plays the accordion, his arm wrapped around a girl, who hugs him and kisses his cheek, will I be able to make it stand alone, or will I have to use artificial means of it's standing? I've already got y sketch and I'm pretty confident I can do this, I just need some help:)
What is he being fed? If the answer is pellets; which it sounds like it is, feed him mostly veggiesLots of veggiesCarrots are a bit sweet and although stereotyped as rabbit food, they should be thought of as a treat, along with any fruit(It only takes a few raisins to cause diarrhea in a bunny)Feed him lots of lettuce, (no iceburg) parsley (my rabbit's favorite), kale, and broccoliTomatoes occasionallyIf you are having a hard time staying on top of fresh veggies for the rabbit to devour and that is why you are depending on pellets, then give about half and half Also, does he have hay? Timothy hay is something that needs to be part of his dietIt needs to be in his cage as much as a water bottleNot enough fiber and his digestive track will shut downNever forget to check his hay every day when you feed himIf he is still young (less than a year) you can switch it up with Alfalfa hay now and thenAfter they get older Alfalfa hay is fattening for them since they are no longer growing psthe stalk at the top of the carrot is better for him than the carrotIf you feed him tons of lettuce, don't freak out if he doesn't touch his water bottleIt took my bunny a month to drink his down because we fed him so many watery veggies Good luck!
If it happens again, get him to the vet! You may be a bit short, but does that mean you should let your bunny die? These are classic signs of internal trouble, not eating, producing little or no droppings and looking bigger around the middleI've had one rabbit die and one rabbit dying but I wouldn't hesitate on going to the vetKeep some liquid paraffin handyYour avatar is blank?
Aluminum foil will work fine with polymer clayDon't know what wire is claimed to give off fumes, but you need to be careful to have the polymer clay in a pretty even thickness and use a separate oven thermometer for baking as the knob settings of ovens are notorious for being off and too high will burn polymer and release noxious fumesStarting with a sculpture of people as your first use of polymer clay is a bit like learning to drive in rush hour traffic If you make it the right shape it will stand upMichaels stocks polymer clay in most of its stores, it doesn't sell anything on line, just promotes going to the stores.
