(4) the contact surface of the arrester shall be wiped clean, remove the oxide film and paint, and coat with an electric composite grease.(5) the arrester shall be installed vertically, the deviation of the sag shall not be greater than 2%, and the metal plate between the flanges shall be corrected when necessary. The discharge counter shall be well sealed, reliable in operation and consistent in the position of the three phase installation, so that it is easy to observe. Ground reliable, counter indicating zero recovery.(8) the exhaust passage of the Zinc Oxide arrester shall be unobstructed, and the exhaust gas shall be avoided during installation. It will cause interphase short circuit or ground flashover, and shall not spray other equipment.
