Our teacher is giving us three days in class to make a solar oven the only materials we can use are cardboard, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and construction paper.does anybpdy know how to help me I'm lost and don't know what to do.It also has to get to a certain temperature when in the sun.thanxs in advance!
Use a cardboard box as the ovenMake a large opening on top for the solar rays to get into the ovenAluminium foil has high reflectanceCover the inside surfaces of the oven with aluminium foilThe foil will reflect back the radiations that are trying escape through the sidesCover the opening with clear plastic wrapClear plastic and glass allow solar (short wave radiation) to pass through, but doesn't allow internal (long wave) radiation to pass through the wrap, thus trapping the solar energy inside the oven making it warmer than the surrounding.
