I usually make my pot roast in a bag and put it in the overn for an 1 1/2I either get pot roast or rump roastI get the meat at SafewayI'm not sure if that makes a difference?? Both of those meat after in the oven come out okayBut the meat doesn't shredHow can i get a perfect pot roast and make sure the meat is soft and it shreds?

Answer:

The trick is in the cooking time Low heat for over 3hrs makes a tender, easily shredded roast here is my fave recipe Ingredients 1 (2-pound) blade cut chuck roast 2 teaspoons kosher salt 2 teaspoons cumin Vegetable oil 1 medium onion, chopped 5 to 6 cloves garlic, smashed 1 cup tomato juice 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar 1 cup cocktail olives, drained and broken 1/2 cup dark raisins Directions Preheat the oven to 190-200 degrees FPlace a wide, heavy skillet or fry pan over high heat for 2 minutesMeanwhile, rub both sides of meat with the salt and cuminWhen the pan is hot (really hot) brown meat on both sides and remove from panAdd just enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of the pan then add the onion and garlicStir constantly until onion is softenedAdd the tomato juice, vinegar, olives, and raisinsBring to a boil and reduce the liquid by halfCreate a pouch with wide, heavy duty aluminum foilPlace half the reduced liquid/chunk mixture on the foil, add the roast, and then top with the remaining mixtureClose the pouch, and wrap tightly in another complete layer of foilCook for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until a fork pushes easily into the meatRemove from oven and rest (still wrapped) for at least 1/2 hourSnip off 1 corner of the foil pouch and drain the liquid into a bowl or measuring cupAdd some of the chunkies and puree with an immersion blenderSlice meat thinly, or pull apart with a forkServe with sauce.
Definalty try runningThat is the number one weight lossThis may seem childish, but hoolihooping helps tone it up a lotDon't eat junky foods and snack on thingsJust have 3 small meals a dayGood luck!
The belly is one of the hardest place to lose fat in women in general (along with hips, butt, and thigh) so know this now and don't be to hard on yourselfMake sure your not drinking TO much water, as this is very possible to do and water weight will make it appear like your not shedding tummy fatI recommend no more then 80oz of water a day for youEating smaller, and more often, is the way to go for burning fat with your excercise programIt keeps your body digesting something, all day longDigesting burning caloriesEmpty stomach for to long body goes into starvation mode and will store fat (to the belly, among other places)Eat more fiberYou should be going 2 at least once every 1-2 days.
I would encourage you to do some sit ups, if you are not doing some already, which will tighten your belly musclesEat a full breakfast and very light, if anything, after 7 o' clock in the afternoonNo fried things, no junk food, no mayonnaise - more milk, yogurt, cheese, vegetables and fruitsOther than that, or if you are already doing these, then just have patience and slowly you'll reach your goal.
Variations in sit -up will help tighten your upper abs and lower absIf your trying to target lower absthen do leg liftsLying on the floor raise your legs 45 degrees and lowering it again SLOWLY will tighten those lower absIf you have an exercise ball that's even betterIt'll add resistance as you lower your legsHold the ball between your feet and lower and raise the ball, keeping your legs straight as possibleAnd if need be, keep your hands ontop of your stomache for support or under your behind if you have really weak lower absDo as many as you can then switch to full sit-upsOnce you switch to full sit-ups you'll feel the tightness from the first exercise this tells you it's workingTry to do as many sit-ups as you can and count themRemember how many you have done cause each dayyou will increase itYou can do the latter exercise (full sit-ups) first and leg raises last if you wish but both workouts will target the lower absAnd you will noticed a differenceAlways do both of them either way and count each exercise mark it downIn no time all it will take is 20-30 minutes each day to keep it trimmed and toned in shapeSometimes I don't have enough time or too lazy to workoutI'll only do these two workouts to maintain the abs tightnessGood luck stay fit!! And Dr OZ says green tea burn belly fatBut you ave to drink it 3 times a day.
