How to measure insulation resistance by using ohmmeter
To check whether the megohmmeter is in normal working condition before measurement, mainly to check the "0" and "infinity" is two points. The handle is rotated, the motor reaches the rated speed, megger short-circuit should be refers to "0" position, open should be refers to "infinity" position.
Before measuring, the power supply of the equipment to be tested must be cut off and ground short circuit discharge shall be carried out, and the equipment is not allowed to be electrified to measure, so as to ensure the safety of the personal and equipment
Measurements can be made only after the possibility of high voltage electrical equipment has been eliminated
The surface of the material to be tested should be clean, reduce contact resistance, and ensure the accuracy of the measurement results
