some times if there was cracks under tile on the concertor maybe the dampness is expanding it.im not sure
Very hot water/steam though fine for the actual tile, is not good for the adhesive sticking the tile downOnce that starts to go, then the tiles can crack because the adhesive behind it is no longer sufficient to support it, especially as its a floorIn addition, if the adhesive wasn't of the waterproof variety then for sure your floor is doomed I'm afraid.
