Hi,I have a 1999 Ford F -150 truck it has a 4.6 V8.I would like to know do you have to lift the cab up to pull the engine out?Or can I just pull it out?A man told me I would have to pull the cab up to get it out is it true?Thanks
Go down to your auto zone discount auto parts etc. pick up a copy of a Hayens auto repair manual for your model year truck. I know that pulling a motor is a big job your going to need an engine hoist, an overhead crane or some thing to get the motor out. good luck.
always used engine hoists to pull motors. sometimes had to do a lot of angling, pushing and pulling to do it.
