Question:

how to remove an angle valve from a wall pipe?

we are trying to replace the angle valve going to our toilet from a wall pipe. trying to unscrew it doesn‘t help, it doesn‘t become loose. we just keep turning and nothing is happening. are we doing something wrong? how do you completely remove it?

Answer:

complicated issue. try searching onto google. that will help!
well from my experience: if it is copper pipe you need to heat the pipe. Heating the pipe would be with a torch for plumping. if it is metal with pipe tape on it you would want to turn the pipe to the left. remember lefty loose, Right tighty. buy the shortest connecting flexible connection pipe. remember to add pipe tape to the connection before screwing it back together or it will leak. if it still leaks tighten a little harder. also ask the people that work at the hardware store they are great help. good luck.
