Answer:

Yes, I ship out for CBT on july 8th to Fort KnoxThe job you want you receive I don't know about the heavy machinery partAsk a recruiterMany recruiters actually go through Yahoo! Answers, so expect a reply here shortly
The quartermaster corps consists of lots of supporting servicesAll classes of supply, food service, graves registration, parachute Riggers are all career fields under the Quartermaster umbrellaAs far as the heavy equipment, that would fall under EngineersNot my area of expertiseAs far as dealing with recruiters, get it in writing and if you know a vet, bring them along, can't hurtEverbody can go to IraqPlan on it!
Ask your recuriter to put you into the Army Corp of Engineers,,,heavy equipment operation and maintance,,,MOS 62-E20Quartermaster stays inside with a lot of paperwork and issues anything from uniforms to bed sheets to the troop as needed, or needs replacement.
Yes, that's one of the best things about enlisting in the Army compared to the other branchesIf you can score high enough on your ASVAB and pass the physical at MEPS, you will be able to pick a job and have it guaranteedSo you don't have to put down a generic preference like Medical, you can actually choose to be a nurse, medic, or any other number of things Quarter Masters is a good job if your into administrationThey do get sent to Iraq, but they're not involved in combat operations, they're really just in charge of equipment.
Rishabh's idea is pretty goodI'm saying pretty much the same thing: Your grocery store will sell some stainless steel cleaner; a mildly abrasive cleaner we use on our pots and pans all the timeA wet cloth or sponge with some of this sprinkled on it should work.
