Grand-kids have had accidents while sleeping on the sofa bed and left urine stains on the mattress.
well there is this stuff called odo ban it removes odors , ad kills germs , it says it is euclalyptus scented but it smells so good , we use it on our sofa ,and beds .. o can get this at wal mart it is cheaper than febreeze and works much better as well
You can steam clean mattresses with a carpet cleaner machine. Just clean both sides and set mattress on edge to dry for a couple of days. Make sure it is completely dry before replacing it to the sofa bed.
