Usually the glue on the protective film is dry. . Tearing it down hardly. It may works this way.
Not to tear it down. Peel it off after it's heated by air heater and then wipe the surface of the stainless steel with a warm towel.
Generally, hot-blast air works. If not, try boiling water. Pour some boiling water on the door and wipe it off with dry cloth.
