I'm going to make vanilla bean buttercream frosting, but I'm worried that if I put it in the fridge, it will absorb unwanted flavorsI don't have glass containers, nothing but plastic bags and Glad containersIt only needs to be stored until MondayI may be a little naive when it comes to some simple cooking things, but I'm just 15 ^_^
line the bottom of the plastic container with aluminum foil, then spoon the exess frosting into the containerthen fold the foil over into kind of a dome shape and put a lid on it and store in the fridge in the crisperand you'll be just finebut i do my own private cupcake and cake business and often times i am too busy to use foil that much and i just store it in any sealed container and i have never had a problembut if you are worried, the foil will help, and let the frosting sit out for about 20 min before remeving it from the foilgood lukk
An insulator is a coating that keeps warmth in like a flask keeps you tea hot and double glassed windows keep the warmth in .
