Question:

how to style bjd wigs?

Im trying to find a simple way to style bjd wigsI can't really find any wigs to fit my doll so I have to figure out a way to style the one that it comes with.

Answer:

A lot of the guitars made over the past several years will have the year either printed or stamped on the head somewhereOlder guitars you'll have to check the serial number and call the manufacturer or take it to a good guitar shop and see if they can age it or if they know someone that can.
For the most part, the looks haven't changed significantly- if there's a label in the soundhole, it may have a serial number printed on it-if so, you can usually get the information from the mfr.'s websiteGood Luck!
How can you not find any that fit? There are lots of BJD wig sellersAnd it depends what kind of wig your BJD came withSometimes the free ones are faux fur like the fake fur coats and long-haired stuffed animals areas are made ofNot much you can do with that but trim, brush, you may be able to set somewhat with near-boiling waterIf it's a synthetic mohair wig (looks more like vinyl doll hair), it can be styled by cutting, straightened by setting it on a taller-than wig stand (you can make one of a glass bottle and squish an aluminum foil ball on top) and pouring near-boiling water over it (may cause some wigs to frizz too though)the same kind of water can be used to set waves etc in it (wrap the hair on cylindrical things and set it with the hot water and let it dry with the rollers in)Can be trimmedDying not recommended for either because dyed wigs can stain a BJDs resin.
