I just did a complete system restore on my computer because I had problems I could not fix with any other solution. To be sure that I have taken care of everything, I am trying to run Spybot SD as well as Malwarebytes along with other anti-virus and spyware program (MRT also). Each time I try and open these programs I receive an error message that says: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. The system restore allowed me access once again to the task manager and registry editor, which were previously blocked, but I am still unable to open these other programs. I have tried going into the properties area of the programs but there does not seem to be an option where I can change permissions or access. If you have any ideas that might help i would be most appreciative. Thanks!
