its going to be my project show car. i need the alarm to have a great security that can notify me when my car is being tampered with or something is touching it. pretty much a good alarm that has everything from keyless entry to engine starter to car tracking.
Go to your local Audio shop and get VIPER Alarm System. I've had this in all of the cars that I own and it's a solid system. It's costly but it's worth the money.
I'm sure you will find just waht your looking for at Crutchfield dot Com. But pager alarms you have to suscribe to a service so your car talks to your phone or pager. When you really get into your car you don't let out of your sight anyway.
When looking for the leak you should have also checked the fluid level and found the problem almost immediately. Replace the dip stick, change the fluid and filter and hope for the best. You did not mention if the transmission has started slipping, if it has the damage to the internal clutches is going to cost you. If not you may be ok. Change the fluid and filter every 12 months or 12,000 miles. Check the fluid level when at operating temperature, in neutral and often.
I would suggest pretty much any alarm produced by DEI (Viper, Python, Hornet, Clifford) and along with that have it installed by a certified dealer( or at least by someone MECP certified). My roommate and I did his girlfriends 95 s14 just recently. A Python system key less, security, remote start, prox. sensor, and window mods. Excellent system! The DEI two-way pager systems require no subscrition what so ever, Installation and go.
