Question:

Is Aluminum Foil a Good Mold for Papier Maches?

I am making a Papier Mache in class (of a shark) and I need to know if Aluminum Foil is a good mold for it! Will that work? Because I don't think using balloons, bowls, or dishes will work well for me, and I have no plaster at my disposal so.does Aluminum Foil work as a mold?

Answer:

During nine months of the year, I use a Marmot Never Summer 0-degree down sleeping bag and wear a dry base layer with a down jacket to sleep at nightDown is superior to polyester sleeping bagsIf I am cold at night, I boil water and throw a few bottles of hot water into my sleeping bagThe idea of being naked in a sleeping bag is a way to dissipate water vapor.
depends how large the shark will beFor larger structures aluminum foil will not be sturdy enough to support the weight of wet paper macheYou might be better off using something stiffer like chicken wire - or other metal screen, depending on the size of what you want to makeFor a larger sculpture your armature needs to be sturdier than for smaller sculptures.
