The drive should go in a anti-static bag or be wrapped in aluminum foilThen wrapped it bubble wrap to twice its sizePut in a box and the the remaining space filled with bubble wrap or crumpled newspaper or foam peanutsStandard packing tape used to seal up the box will be fine.
