the horns are simplex will the horns work with any system panel I hate having a battery operated smoke detector that has went off when I accidently burnt something like popcorn in the microwave I would like to have a fire alarm that is not so sensitive

no. there are different resins and some are more expensive than others, but generally if you want a transparent plastic which you can pour before hardening you are stuck with resins.
