I got my nails done a few weeks ago, i've never had acrylics before and dont want to spend $23 getting them removed if i can do it for free at home.

Answer:

very cheap jewelry,,the acidity in your skin affects it .no disrespect intended !!!!!
It's doing that because it's not real silverIt's silver plated (i.e- some other metal coated in silveror maybe not even silver, silver coloring in some cases)You could coat costume jewelry in clear fingernail polish to stop it from turningor you could make sure it's real silver beforehand to alleviate the problem.
Your skin is too acidicSilver will tarnish because of this and cause your skin to turn blackLook on the inside of the jewerly, if it says 925, it is real silverIf it says sp, silver plateSome people have the same reaction to goldGold has nickle in it to make it hard, 10k having the mostBe careful about taking bee pollen or anything like that , as it may cause an allergic reaction
You have to use pure acetone buy a big bottle you can soak you fingers in a glass bowl with the acetone or cut 10 piece of aluminum foil wet cotton balls with the acetone be generous put it on your finger and wrap your finger with the alumin foil and use the stick that you use for pushing back you cuticles keep checking (add more acetone to the cotton if needed) them and scraping off the acrylic it might take a while but it works.
