i have a 2005 malibu classic.when put in gear the doors lock automatic,but they dint.same as when cut off?
well like the other guy said its hard to under stand the question however most cars now days lock the doors when the drive or reverse gear is engaged or at 5 mph and above the doors usually unlock when you put the car in park some dont sometimes you have to unlock the doors with a switch. You should call the dealership to find out they can tell you how it should work.
Do not fully understand your question, so I am guessing here. Automatic door locks - doors lock when you put it into gear. However they do not unlock when you stop, put in park, or shut ignition off. You must manually unlock them yourself by either the electric door lock/unlock button , or th emanual mechanisim on ht edoor.
