I have a box of chocolate chip muffin or quick bread mix, can i make this in a 9by13 pan?

I only have a 9 by 13 pan, can i make the quick bread in this? The directions on the box say a loaf pan but i don't have one.

No, it's much much too bigYou could sort of make your own loaf pan using aluminum foil doubled up and folded into the shape of a loaf panIf you fold over the aluminum foil so it's double-strength, then butter it up good so the bread doesn't stick - then fold up the long sides like a box, make a triangle at the other ends where the corners need to overlap, and then fold them up so you have your loaf panMake sure to butter it first, it will be easier to do than trying to mess with it otherwiseIt's not perfect but it would do in a pinch.
