Check with a local motor shop. Most single phase motors will have black,white, and green.If you have a meter available,meter from each lead to the motor frame with your ohmmeter set to high resistance scale. My educated guess is that the yellow is going to be your ground. :-)=
well if 120 volt black is positive/ white negative / and yellow ground. I think .
Your best bet would be to get a voltmeter and use it before you wire it wrong and ruin the motor.
black is always the load, white is always the ground, what yellow is I don't know.
It is either 3-phase or the white wire is the hot one (if it is single phase). If it is 3-phase, hook all the wires up, and run motor, if it runs in reverse, switch two wires.
