if there is already a car alarm system in a car but u cant find the the remote for it can you get another or do i have to set up another system
See if you can find out the brand of the alarm, then call car audio/alarm shops to see if they sell that brand. Chances are that a new remote CAN be purchased and programmed - BUT these days with alarms being so cheap, it may be more cost effective to just buy a new alarm which will come with two remotes.
yes, you can get replacement remotes, if you are not familiar with the alarm system and don't have the instruction manual you will be best to take it to a car audio installation shop and have them tell you what kind of alarm you have, where to order from, and how to program the new remotes
