the red light has come on and the pressure is low. Have tried switching on an off again - any ideas apart from calling an engineer??!
You need to re pressure the water in heating system, via either a small valve in the cold water inlet rise to The boiler with a screwdriver slot or a silver braided piece of flex pipe that you attach to the cold water inlet pipe to The boiler, turn in line valve with screwdriver to The right you will hear the water filling the system and the gauge rises to 1.5. Then providing the stat on boiler is set at say 60 degrees and any hall stat is set above room temp the boiler should go through its safety checks and fire up. Check by turning the hot water tap on to see if boiler fires. If it still doesn't fire look for a fault code and call a Gas Safe engineer (UK law no one but trained qualified engineer can work on a gas boiler)
