you do it they do not vacuum also.. do not make the same mistake i did and walk on the carpet before it is dry if you do it will get dirty real fast...
Vacuum it yourself, you never assume someone else will do it, because 9 times out of 10, they don't.
No, they do not vacuum before cleaning the carpeting. Can you borrow a sweeper? After the carpeting is completely dry, run your sweeper over it going in one direction, then going in another.
It must depend on the cleaning service that you use. The company that I use always does heavy duty vacuuming prior to cleaning my carpets. I use a local service, not a chain as I was never pleased with them. Next time, be sure to ask so that you will know what you are supposed to do ahead of time. Hopefully your company will bring a vacuum tomorrow!
