the lady who answered my phone called said she was going to put the request so the fire department can close it, last Saturday the fire hydrant was opened around 3 pm afternoon, we call 311 a lots of times and they just took our call but nobody came to close it, and not until around 12.00 midnight somebody closed .this fire hydrant is bothersome because is right in front of my house and is such a shame nobody cares in how much water gets wasted,

From there the metallic framework of these tall buildings will act to safely conduct the charge from any lightning strikes safely to the ground thus you really never hear of much if any damage to sky scrapers from lightning strikes, though they do get struck from time to time.
