Question:

i have too much flame comin out of my gas boiler, cleaned burners, what else should i check?

bryant gas hot water heat system, flames are comin out from bottom up side of cover bout an ich

Answer:

Get a professional, your flue is clogged forcing air down instead of drawing it up, very dangerous.
Your boiler is made up of sections. A space is in between the sections for the fule gases to go up to the chimney. When sute gets inbetween the sections the gases are blocked and the flame comes out the front of the boiler. To clean the boiler it has to be tacken apart and a brush is pushed between the sections. it is not a hard job but it might be a good idea to let a pro do it.
Hi, You have a restricted air flow! All I know. YES, call in an expert as other people said ,before you kill the whole family. It some how means your chimney or what ever air vent you have is clogged. Please call some one before you all croak! Massachusetts licensed boiler fireman/fire person.
If you don't know what to check you shouldn't be touching it. If flames are coming out of bottom instead of going straight up then so is carbon monoxide. Do not use get some-one qualified to check it.
its called roll out,and its caused from to much air in the mixture like a cracked heat chamber may want to have it checked by a pro. tech,is the flame yellowish blue and no consistence to the flame? has anyone messed with the burners, there is an adj. for the air/gas mixture, you can check that first, looks like butterfly wings on top of the burners
