What type of drapes would work on a metal door?
Best way to cover is to use curtains, measure the window and use the mesurement to shop for the size of curtains you will need.
either what they said... OR u can do it the home-made way get a sheet that u dont sleep with cover the window by nailing 2 the wall or if thats not possible u can also use decorative paper tape it on the window!
There are some drapes with magnetic bars to keep them up, also you can find Velcro strips in many stores, you could use one on the door and one on the drapes if they do not stick to the Velcro, i still recommend looking for the magnetic ones though.
any type of drapes will work. You just measure the width, and the length. Write them on a piece of paper. Take them to a store, and pick out what type and color of drapes you want. You would probably want a dark color, to keep out the hot sun in the summer, and keep in the heat in the winter. Then buy a drape rod to do your drapes on, and buy two things that you nail on the sides of the door, at the top to hold the drape rod and drapes up.
You have many choices. They now make curtain rods that have magnets on the ends that would attach to your metal doors. I do know Target carries them. Also, get the curtains that have thermal backing for additional energy savings.
