i just wanted to know how to become a bulldozer driver and do they work year round or just seasonal and how do they get paid and how much an hour/year
there are heavy equipment operator schools all over the country. bulldozer operators and other equipment operators are usually in high demand. the work year round in the warmer parts of the country and are seasonal in the colder parts. my personal opinion is that this trade will be in high demand if the stimulus package includes a lot of highway funding. earth-mover and dozer operators make from 18 to 25 dollars per hour here in kansas.
heavy equipment operator school would be a good place to start, as limiting yourself to only one machine you'll find you wont get many job offers. I'm a heavy equip mechanic and can repair and operate everything, which in turn makes me in high demand, see where I'm going with this. and yes I make very good money.
go to school to learn heavy Equipment operator depends on where you live as to it being work all the time or not and payed well for knowing how yes 20 bucks and up also depending on company and job sites your working but sure one of the higher paying jobs with any type of heavy Equipment operator
