I am trying to make a sweet potato veggie burger recipe where it says to bake the sweet potato and mash it together with some white beansI baked the potato, peeled it, chopped it, and it seemed softI put it in the bowl with the white beans and started mashing but soon realized they were too hard to mashBut now they are already in the bowl covered with mashed white beansIs there anyway I can fix it so they are soft enough to mash?

You can put it in a baking tray, and wrap it with aluminium foil to keep steam in to cook it more, and just put it back into the ovenBy doing this it should make the mash softer Hope this helps
