I need to apply Bordeaux Mixture to my grapevines for a fungal problem. and have been adivsed not to buy the chemical components, Copper Sulphate and Slaked Lime (Calcium Hydroxide) premixed as the shelf life is very short.I have found a source of Copper Sulphate, but am having difficulty finding a small quantity supplier of the Slaked Lime - a kilo or two.

Grease cookie sheets. 2.In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, egg, and egg yolk until smooth. Stir in lime juice and lime zest. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; blend into the creamed mixture. Form dough into 1/2 inch balls, and arrange on the prepared cookie sheet. 3.Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks. Sift confectioners' sugar over cookies while still warm.
I am sending some baked goods to a friend for Christmas and he LOVES key lime pie, but he lives a couple states away, so mailing a pie, well that's pretty much out of the question BUT I thought maybe cookies would ship better, maybe even key lime bars? Any suggestions or recipes would be apprciated! Thanks!
