You need to use the correct pitch so that it will top out at the red line or just beforeTo much prop and you won't have the rpms to produce powerTo little prop will cause you to over-rev the engineI doubt you need a 4 blade prop for the size boat engine you haveAluminium props are lighter so develop speed very slightly faster and are cheaperStainless will last longer and will withstand more mud running but costs more.
