I have put clay over a paper mask form and I want to bake it now, but if I remove the form, the mask will collapse.The clay bakes at 275 so if I were to do this in intervals or about 15 minutes, would I be ok? I don't want the paper (well it's more of a cardboard sort of) catching fire in my gas oven
It really doesn't matterEither way, the burger will cook great and will have that grill flavorI usually cook uncovered until the flames get too high, then I put the lid onOf course, if you are using mesquite or hickory chips, you will want to leave the lid on for about 10 minutes so the meat will absorb some of that flavorAnd, after you put the cheese on your burgers, put the lid back onAren't Weber grill grand?!?! They are the best charcoal grills out there.
This probably isn't much help now but you could have used tin foil as the form instead of cardboardCan you remove the form and do that?
