Question:

I need some recipe ideas for a three-course meal.?

Hi there!I am planning on making a three course meal for myself, my husband, and some of our friends in a couple of weeks :) I'm planning an extremely simple flow: soup, entrée and dessertMy cooking abilities are decent, meaning that I can follow a recipe of to medium-to-advanced medium difficulty well (i.eI'm by no means a culinary master), and no one has ever gagged at my food :)I've already picked out which soup I would like to doIt's a butternut squash soup with a touch of cayenne pepper to add some heat at the endIt's very creamy, smooth, and flavorful.Do you have any suggestions as to what a good, complimentary entrée and dessert would be?Thank you so much for your advice!Note: the only dietary restriction to consider is that I am pregnant, and so cannot eat cold cuts, unpasteurized dairy products, or certain kinds of fish.
