I need tips on a farm birthday party. Table decorations and cute ideas on what to serve snacks in.?
Serve the snacks in little tin pails. I bought mine at Target for a buck a piece. Or you could make a trail mix with and add frosted mini wheats and put them in very small brown paper bag. Pam
Scarecrow for table centerpiece, kids pails and wheel barrow for chips and dips.
You could do a trough with dip, or a silo. A childs toy fencing could corral chips, you could have a veggie platter with a tractor in the center
Put a bowl in an upside down cowboy hat for chips! Don't forget to have some bales of hay around to sit on!
You can use a lot of things to serve food in, either by putting a bowl in it, or lining it with plastic wrap as long as it is not liquid. You did not say the age of the guests, but you can also use food for bowls. Hollowed out peppers, red, green, yellow or orange can hold dips. Also, you can use the small pumpkins for bowls. You can hollow out watermellon, cantelope, just about anything to use to serve food from. line with plastic wrap if you do not want the filling to take on flavor from the container. Most of the dollar stores have plastic farm animals, and you can even get paper plates with animal faces at walmart. You can cut animal shapes out for placecards. Foamies work good for this. You can write on them with a sharpie marker
