i need the wires that plug into the back of the cd player and i dont know how to order them.
try best buy or circuit city take the radio with you If the unit is fairly new they would have the harness you are looking for or one of the installation techs may have one in their box they may sell to you. Also try pioneer.
The smoked wire indicates that too much power went through the unit. Most likely, the amplifier was burnt out, seeing as how you no longer have any sound. Time to buy a new car stereo.
A specialty car audio shop might just have one in stock.Check there first then try the net .
