Power Berries! There are five Power Berries that you can get throughout the game that will expand that stamina bar. One for getting ten hearts with any animal. One for tilling 1000 squares with your hoe (only on land you own). One for reaching skill level 3 for your Fishing Rod. One on the thirtieth and final floor of the Ganache Mine (sparkle on the ground). And one, much later in the game, when you open a path past the bear in Mt. Gelato to the Harvest Goddess Spring where the Mother Tree once lived. If you're having problems keeping your stamina up, another helpful thing to do is upgrade the material level on your tools. They start out basic but can be upgraded to Iron, Copper, Silver, and Gold at the Blacksmith's if you have enough money and the proper ore metal. (also can be purchased at the General Store, but much more expensive). The better the material is, the less stamina you expend using the tool. (Remember that the material level is separate from the skill level that you earn yourself by using a tool frequently. Skill level does not affect the stamina necessary, but rather increases the power of the tool or the radius over which it can be used.) Also, for quick regeneration, there is a secret Hot Spring in the Caramel Falls area (go all the way to the right past the falls toward the monkey, then turn around and you should be able to walk up a hidden rock path), which you can use once a day to fill up your energy completely no matter how low you are - free of charge except for an hour of your time. Good luck!
