Question:

What is the best suspension system for a 1996 honda civic?

I wana know the best springs, struts bars or whatever i need ro put on my 1996 honda civic so that i can carry alot of weight and prevent my 17x7 rims from grinding against the frame every time i hit a bump

Answer:

Many different ways to go about it. I own a civic my self with 17s. I used skunk2 coil overs with a camber kit. The camber kit allows u to camber(adjust tilt) on wheels to miss the fenders depending on it ur droppin it or not. Or to Square up tires flat on the ground if tires are bowing Typically in the rear. Ebay is some times looked down on for parts but check them out.
The stock suspension will hold just fine. I have 17's on my civic. Stock suspension. No problems with the rims hitting the frame. If yours are hitting the frame then either your stock suspension is damaged or worn out of you already have an aftermarket set up that is too low. Just check.
