Question:

I want my baked chicken to be crispy on the outside (not coated like with fried chicken)How do I cook it?

Should I cover it in aluminum foil or should I leave it uncovered?

Answer:

Did you forget to mention, that you have to keep the jars in the sun? or you didn'twell, I'm assuming you have toI do know for sure that the uncovered jar would heat fasterReasons are simpleAluminum Foil would sure absorb heat faster, but then glass is bad conductor, so the heat transfered should actually be too slowFor the uncovered jar, light penetrates the glass and is absorbed by waterthat generates heat in the waterWant to know how? You gotta knock for that buddy:) As for the slowestI'd put it the one covered in industrial paperassuming that papers are anyway a bad conductor compared to Aluminumso it should be able to capture far less heat than the aluminumand hence transfer in the same manner Hope this helps you man:)
Bake your chicken like normal, then after a while turn your grill up to high and pop it under it, keep the oven/grill door open a little though as it can burn quickly.the fast heat from the grill will crisp up your chicken that should work.
