Question:

I Want to Fiberglass the floor of my car?

what kind of fiberglass should i use or what would you suggest i do. I was thinking about using the current floor because it is molded and shaving all of the carpet off then cutting it into four pieces for easier installation.why do you think this is a bad idea if you do

Answer:

I think they repel nor attract irons
Magnets attract materials that are made of iron, steel (which is made from iron), cobalt, nickel, and some rare earth elements. These magnetic materials are metals, but not all metals are attracted to magnets.
that's totally awesome! tell me how it works out when you finish
What is the point? You are adding weight which will reduce mileage and performance. You will have a lot of road noise that was dampened by the carpet. I can think of no advantages to doing it. This is not a job that someone that has no experience will be able to do and actually have look decent.
do you want to apply fiberglass reinforced plastic on a partly rusted-away sheet metal body? If so, wearing eye protection, use a wire wheel in an electric drill to clean off all of the rust, solvent wash the cleaned area with acetone. Buy 10 ounce fiberglass cloth and fluid epoxy (not polyester) resin, mix with hardener to wet-out the FG cloth over the hole and on sufficient metal to get a good surface continuity. allow that to cure and then put two or three pieces of 10 oz cloth one on top of the other and wet them out with fluid epoxy. Epoxy is an adhesive, polyester resin is not. After the epoxy fully cures, you should have a 'sound' floor. BUT, if the metal floor is perfectly 'sound' that is as good as an epoxy-fiberglass floor. The floor need to be solid and clean, be it metal or fiberglass. Carpet adhesive will adhere to metal or FRP.
