Hello. I am interested in getting a car alarm since I will no longer have a garage at my new apartment. I would like to have a remote that has an alarm, car starter, and auto lock buttons. Any recommendations on a good brand and also I have heard that putting an alarm on an older car could screw up the electronics. Is this true?
There are a lot of options you have to look at with choosing a car alarm. Does your car have automatic locks, if not then it will cost more on the installing part, is it a manual or automatic, little factors like that. The smartest and best way if your trying to save money and if you have a few hours to do so is to go to your local Best Buy, Circuit City, or car audio store and see what they have to offer. Remember to write down the prices for the alarm and installation, and the make and model of the alarm. And buy it off the inter-net, I guarantee it will be cheaper. I gave you a few sites that sell car alarms that will work for your car.
