im asking this because when i get back to school in september i will probably need to take it out for PE once a week in the mornings if thats possible, i cant tell my teacher that i cant do PE because if they found out i had the piercing they wold ask me to take it out as its school rules to not have any piercing other than the lobes.so should i even get it, i really want it.
2weeks and even about 1 month sorry hope it helps! x33
Takes about 3 months (so piercers say) to heal. Although in my first year of having it, whenever i took it out, it would pretty much immediately start healing :/ I took it out once for half an hour and it felt tight when i tried to get the bar back in. My ear was numbed when it was pierced but it did hurt for a few hours afterwards (everyone's different) - just like a burning ache really not proper painful :) obviously it WRECKS when you bang/catch it but i've had this for 3 years now and its fine.
3 months to a year. Go for it! I got mine last week. let me tell you, everyone is lying when they say it hurts. It'll hurt a little more than your lobes, but not much. What really hurt was when he put the bottom ball on wrong, and couldn't get it off for 15-20 minutes. Here he was playing with a fresh piercing, gripping the middle of the barbell. I was just sitting there with one of those, Whaaaaaa...? expressions on my face. But you're piercing would be okay. I would just leave your hair down, and you'd be fine. Because it would hurt to take it out and you won't wanna irritate it. So I'd try leave it in, until at least early November. Then you can take it out/ put it back in all you want. sleeping on it is no problem, it doesn't hurt, it just feels weird. Like, you can feel the bar, what angle the bar is at, and where the balls are. It's.. weird. Have fun! remember to clean it!
