If you want to play it safe make a video diary everynight make sure you include the time.they can't arrest you without evidence and you are allowed to politely request that they do not falsely accuse you without evidence. If you did not do it, doing things in your favour would be of benefit. Keep a journal. A video diary, tell a neighbour the situation and get them to vouch for you being in your house at certain times. At least until this blows over. You can always phone the police or a lawyer up and ask advice. Do you have any lawyer friends? Try them.
