Question:

Where is the pcv valve in a 2001 ford focus?

I went online to check where was the pcv valve for a 2001 ford focus, but I didn't find it. Does anyone have a picture? Thanks

Answer:

Its on the front of a line that looks like a big black t and it is very hard to notice.
The PCV (positive crankcase valve) is usually on top of the engine or in the valve cover, but it will be in different locations depending on the engine cylinder count: 4, 6, or 8 cylinder. You may have to go to a dealer and ask for a parts breakdown drawing which will show you where all the various parts are located. Some libraries have big books that show all the details about any model of car. Ask around.
Go around to the passenger side of the car and shove your arm way down along the firewall behind the engine. Feel around with your fingers and you will feel the PCV hose where it connects to the intake. Once you have found that you can follow it forward from underneath (no kidding) about a foot to the PCV valve. I don't think it is even visible from the top.
